PaddingtonCentral is one of London’s largest urban renewal projects totalling 1.6 million sq ft of offices, residential, retail and leisure space. It involved the regeneration of a derelict goods yard adjacent to PaddingtonCentral and fronting the Grand Union Canal. Phases 1 and 2 are fully let and Development Securities won the ‘Deal of the Year’ award for securing three large lettings in 2009. Phase 3 (Two Kingdom Street) reached practical completion in February 2010 and is 40 per cent let. Construction on Four Kingdom Street, a 140,000 sq ft office building, is set to commence in 2012.
